Things of My Very Own

A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that helps children in crisis.

Last night, current and former team members went to see fireworks together. This morning, we supported our colleague as she walked across a stage. This marks the fifth high school graduation ceremony we have attended together as a team.

All team members who have been consistantly employed by the organization for at least one year, receive an extra week of paid vacation when they graduate high school or college. This allows them time to be in the moment and appreciate how far they have come. Keala has climbed mountains to get where she is today and we could not be prouder. She plans to attend SCCC in the fall as a psychology major. We are confident she will make great contributions to this field.

Congratulations Keala! Never forget, you have an entire team standing beside you, and we are convinced your Dad is with you too.

The Crisis Intervention Center will be closed for non-emergency matters this Saturday, June 28th, for the best reason ever! One of our youngest team members will be graduating high school.

Our team has committed to attending the ceremony and cheering for our colleague as she walks across the stage toward success. We will be loud and likely, excitedly obnoxious.

Keala started working at the organization when she was ~15 years old. Since then, she has worked toward operational efficiency by problem solving through creative means, and teaching our “seasoned" employees about technological advances. For her patience, we are forever grateful.

Keala’s capabilities go far beyond her intellectual abilities. Her beautiful heart allows her to empathize with many guests, for various reasons, for she too, has experienced trauma.

Keala’s beloved father passed under tragic circumstances back in 2021. He, too, was one of our team members. On the day of her graduation, Keala will wear an Eagle Feather in honor of her father and the Quianault Indian Nation, as they were/are both tribal members. We stand by Keala, all of our team members, and children with loved ones who can not be present during major life events. For it is not our trials, but our willingness to stand by others and push forward, that defines us.

Please help us in congratulating Miss Keala this Saturday morning, as she defies all odds and steps onto the road to success.

Amazing!! Just when we thought you did it all, you out did yourselves!! This is such a tremendous healing gift 💝

I didn't know that!

That’s a really cool idea! ❤️❤️

Rayne and staff, I think you need to tell us, post about the neat services you provide that most of us don't know about. I would love to know.
