This morning, a fantastic four-year-old grabbed a wrapped cheese stick from our fridge at approximately 7:30 a.m. At ~7:45 a.m., it had dropped to the floor. The child then decided he no longer wanted it for himself. He instead, offered it to us as a fundraiser for the organization.

This exceptional cheese stick has been unrefrigerated for several hours. It is no longer edible but has the potential to make excellent decor.

The beginning bid was set at $0.01. As of 8 am, the winning bid was made by his older sister who offered $0.06 and a flower. She was outbid by our roofer at $0.08.

If you would like to help children in crisis, please do so now. We do not have a professional bidding system, but if you choose to donate, it will show this four-year-old the impact of his giving.

***Taps fingers on the desk, wondering when Ret. Lieutenant Graniero, the Chairman of our Board of Directors, will log-into Facebook and see that we are running a non-edible cheese stick fundraiser. **** 🀣🀣🀣

Two people donated $31 in total. If you do not give now, one of them will get the cheese stick.

I’ve always wanted a used, warm cheese stick!

JUST what I’ve been looking for!!! πŸ˜‰πŸ§€β€οΈ

I NEED that cheese! Working in a school cafeteria we save them from the landfill and ‘share’ with others. And By share I mean hide for them to find

I bid $51, can never have enough πŸ§€.

I donated $50.00 how do I know if it want thru?

A cheese stick that’s been in your pocket all day is one of my all time favorite things ever. That cheese stick is def still edible. Pocket cheese FTW. Highly recommend.

I know I’m not in on the bidding… but here’s my $5. Viva La cheese!

P.S.: This might be the coolest fundraiser I've ever been a part of! πŸ˜†

Aw, what the heck- it's my birthday, and I wanna throw some positive energy into the universe. Just donated AGAIN.

Just donated $100…. I LOVE warm floor cheese sticks ♥️

Here I am 6 days later and checking on the progress of this fundraiser… I see that our living art has an expiration of 27 March, wonder how much more we could raise before then?!? πŸ™‚ I’ll start with another $50 on my end. Anyone else want in on this? I’ll share the cheese 😁

Cheeeeeeeeeeeese is better than a fur stuffed pillow πŸ˜‰

Am i reading that correctly? $1309 for the cheese stick so far? I recommend duct taping it to a wall and posting it. Bound to hit millions.

It became a $41 cheese stick when I just donated but was already out bid! Happy to keep it going!

I got $5 on it…

Just donated $100 please frame it

Love this so much!! I see that bid and raise it to $50, who is going to top me??? Sure looks like a quality item! I mean, banana 🍌 art is fetching huge sums… this is a dairy product, for crying out loud … cows were involved, at some point! πŸ„

I hope I’m in the running now. There may be a string cheese incident.

I find it amazing that we are supposed to be the teachers of children, yet they teach us more than we ever realize.

The littles in our family run around at family gatherings and slide cheese sticks in unknowing peoples pockets! Then when you find it you yell that you got cheesed!! This stick would up their game exponentially!! Off to donate!!!😁

Love this so, so much πŸ’—πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜…πŸ₯ΊπŸ’—

Please update how much the cheese stick raised in total! BTW- warm cheese sticks are the absolute best! It is still edible.... although I think it's worth more staying in package ❀️

I'll give you $50, and you can keep & frame the cheesestick.
